Shana holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Mental Health in Schools with a Certification in Multicultural Education from the University of Missouri–Columbia. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), ensuring she meets the highest standards of professional practice. With over a decade of experience, Shana creates a therapeutic space where clients feel seen and understood. She serves as a compassionate mirror, reflecting back the truths uncovered in sessions while gently challenging clients to examine the beliefs and behaviors that shape their lives. Tasha utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Based Therapy Techniques. She has experience working with couples, teens, and adults.
